Beautiful, lightweight knit poncho is a piece of art. A blend of silk and baby alpaca (see note below) combines two most luxurious fibers - making a heavenly light to wear and touch poncho, with a lovely drape. Hand-dyed in Peru with non-toxic dyes. work is performed by artisans working under Fair Trade conditions.
This a beautiful and ethical product that is a great addition that will be loved in all seasons for formal or casual occasions.
Note: "Baby Alpaca" is not, as its name implies, taken from baby alpaca. Rather, this sought-after yarn is created from the softest, finest part of adult alpaca fiber.
