Pendleton Woolen Mills is an amazing American company with a rich history. It started in nearby Oregon in 1863, for over 150 years producing tweed, flannel, and worsted wool apparel. Since then, the company is still family-owned (six generations!) and producing amazing wool textiles in Pendleton, OR. The fascinating fact is that from the beginning the founders respected stunning Native American designs in the Pendleton trade blankets, and collaborated with Native tribes which continues till today.
