Beautiful Salt and Pepper Grinder set with First Nations art depicting salmon and hummingbird - a fantastic addition to your kitchen. Gorgeous traditional heritage mixed with modern interpretation is created by authentic Native American artists of the Salish Sea tribes.

We are very privileged to be able to carry the items designed by them. This art is made by Andrew Williams, a Haida Native American Artist. Andrew is part of the Raven clan in Old Masset island in British Columbia on Haida Gwaii. He is a self-taught artist working with argillite, silver, gold, and other materials and is well known for his breathtaking inlay work. Artists receive a portion of the sales from each piece sold.

First Nations Art of the Northwest

These products are made in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.  The focus is on representing and supporting Indigenous people. Preserving the history of our First Nations is at the heart of every product available.  Each item is created by an artist with First Nation roots or membership.

These skilled artists are preserving their heritage through each piece that reflects their tribe's unique heritage and values. Created from materials such as wool, leather, and cotton these items are gentle on the earth as well. The artists are commission paid to ensure fair pay and representation of their work.

About the Artist: 

Andrew Williams was born in Haida Gwaii,  and is a carver in argillite, silver and gold as well as a graphic designer. He is part of the Raven clan in the Old Masset on Haida Gwaii. His work is a blend of traditional and contemporary art and shows his passion for his Haida Ancestory and the "old stories".

    The Salish Sea is the network of waterways of the Cascadia region of British Columbia and a northwest portion of the state of Washington, close to where our store operates. The area is a home for many Native American tribes with numerous cultures and languages.

    The products in the First Nations Art category are authentically designed by the artist here. They represent the traditions and values of Indigenous people.     All items (except underwear and socks) are returnable within 30 days, as long as they are unused and unwashed, no perfume or smoke (keep this in mind when trying on your clothes), with tags remaining. Only the cost of merchandise, not the shipping fees are refunded.
