Is this bra ever available in XS? From the comments it appears that's what I'd need even though I measure as a small.
We have very liitle requests for XS so we don't normally carry that size, but we will be glad to order this for you. The next delivery day to us is mid January.
Since these bras are very soft, they are bit more tricky to find the right sizing. Many customers feel the S, M is quite correct size, too.
You are welcome to send an email to info@NaturalClothingCompany.com so we can notify you when it's avaialble (we do not see email addresses here).
What material are the insertable/removable pads made of?
This bra style comes with optional molded cups that fit into pockets of the bra. These cups are made of synthetic polyurethane foam with 100% polyester fabric on both sides. If used correctly, the cups do not come in contact with the skin. As of now we have not found commercially viable natural alternative.
Do these run small or according to size?
These are quite true to size. Yet... on such an intimate part of the body, the sizing of the body varies a lot, too.
We suggest trying on top of your undergarment and not removing tags so if needed, the garment can be returned or exchanged.
Do you have any similar bras without metal?! I am severely allergic to nickel. ;)
Yes! Many of our bras do not have any metal. Some of the links are:

I absolutely LOVE this as the only bra style I'll buy from here on out, but I really hate to use the inserts even if I know the polyurethane doesn't touch my skin. I only do so when I am in public with a thinner blouse or T shirt. Would it work to sew the bra with multiple layers of the cotton cups --maybe 5or 6 layers?
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are in continuous search of a perfect bra and do understand the dilemma.
The issue with bra pads that you need a nice smooth appearance and layers of cotton together would not have that, especially after the wash. many women replace the inserts with other inserts or even homemade pads. I am sure more products will be coming to the market and we'll be looking out for that.
So glad the bra is comfortable for you and thanks for putting out the question - it's definitely a good one!
What are the strap hardware made out of?
Oh, my! You stumped me on that one. I sent a request for info from the manufacturer because I honestly can't tell - it is either painted metal or very hard plastic. They are very comfortable but not sure of the material.
I hope to have an answer in a few days.
I heard from the manufacturer who says it's metal, painted.
